1. Union: 7 to be disciplined in Fire Dept. sex scandal

 Seven Philadelphia Fire Department employees face discipline in a sex scandal that has engulfed the department in recent weeks, the firefighters’ union says.

Union President Joe Schulle said at a Friday news conference that the city has only provided his union with a partial report from the Inspector General’s Office about the controversy and has refused to provide information about eight other cases of alleged sexual misconduct.

 

 2. Bruce Jenner In Horrible Car Crash One Person Dead

Reality TV star and Olympic champion Bruce Jenner released a statement on the fatal car accident in which he was involved Saturday.

“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to … all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident,” Jenner said. “It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through … I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”

 

 3. Brian Williams stepping aside for ‘next several days’

Brian Williams is stepping aside from “NBC Nightly News” amid mounting questions about a story he told about a 2003 Iraq War mission.

“I have decided to take myself off of my daily broadcast for the next several days,” he said in a memo to colleagues.
