Aretha Franklin brought prayer to the top of the charts with, “I Say A Little Prayer.” On Friday, as the world says its final farewell, Philadelphia will celebrate her legacy through prayer. We’ll pray that our children will emulate Franklin’s greatness; that their schools will be safe from shootings; and that violence will decrease in our streets.
